The mask is so cute fits great because of the adjustable straps, she loved her mask:)I would not recommend this for a child. This mask was too big for even my adult face and larger than my large size adult masks. It does have size adjusters on the string that goes over the ears but on my 6 year old the face mask itself went ear to ear and would not stay on. She loved the design but it just wouldn’t stay on.I ordered this mask for my 6-year-old but it's huge! It's even huge for my average-sized adult face. It goes down to my neck. The ear loops are also ridiculously large. It's great that there are adjusters on the ear loops, but there is no reason for them to be so large, it just makes for lots to dangle behind the ear. The mask is comfortable and I do like the quilted back as it makes it breathable. It is layered so I can believe it will be protective, but it's almost too thick and I would not want to wear this outside in the heat. It is well made, just too large. I would not purchase this for a child.I also bought a six pack of exactly this mask. Here is my review:I tried one of these masks on my own presumably normal-size adult female head. It fit, but I could tell that it was made for someone with a smaller face. My single biggest concern is that there were enormous under-eye gaps and no way to close them. There is no nose piece. Still, I have to think that if the cute pattern gets kids to wear these masks, that's better than nothing.PROS:- These masks are very thick. I can feel at least two layers, although the product page indicates three.- Very breathable despite the thickness.- I found the ear loops very easy to adjust. I child could do it.- Remarkably, no cheek gap.- Very cute patterns.CONS:- The mask is so thick that it is bound to get warm under there.- Under-eye gaps are so huge they largely defeat the whole purpose.BOTTOM LINE: Better than nothing … but can't we maybe do better than that low bar? This was a cute mask that said it was made for kids but as an adult, it was almost too large for my face. I don't see how it would fit a child's face. It had a soft fabric, like a flannel on the inside of the mask. While it was soft, it might get a little hot if you were wearing it for very long. This is supposed to be a kids’ mask, but I’m a bit confused as to what age group it’s intended to fit. I have a 3-year-old and and an 8-year-old and it was much too big for both of them. It was a bit small for me, so maybe it would fit a pre-teen?My 3-year-old was very excited about this mask. He loved the Pawley character on it. So cute. He was SUPER bummed when the didn’t fit him at all. The mask was too wide and too tall for his little face. I tried tightening the ear loops with the handy silicone adjusters to make it stay on, but I had to tighten it so much that it immediately pulled off his ears. Looser, and it slipped right off his face. The mask doesn’t have any kind of nose strip, which would have helped a bit, I think.I repeated the process with my 8-year-old. It was still much too wide for him, although the length was better. But same problem: Tighten the ear loops enough to keep the mask on his face and it pulls his ear and falls right off. Hmm.Both my kids are bummed this mask didn’t work out for them. This is way too large to be a kid's mask! In fact, it's even large on my adult face! I was so disappointed when this arrived and tried it on my 9 year old. I was hoping it would be a fun mask for her to wear to school.I find the Pawley "Hi" mask to be cute and comfortable, and I really like the adjustable ear loops. Ear loops are often either too big (saggy mask) or too little (pull tight and hurt), so it's great to finally see an adjustable version! The mask that I received was substantially bigger than I had expected from the description, which worked out great for me as an adult because it fit just fine. It's actually the biggest mask that I own (and I own a few, like I'm guessing many of you do), so I'd say it's definitely sized more for adults than young kids.
