Bought the same exact pair a year ago in a different color and it's my favorite boot ever. Decided to pick up another pair for when the current wear out and this came and my toe is right to the edge. Super uncomfortable. I couldn't even walk around the room in them. Not sure why the size is so off but very disappointed. Three stars for it being an amazing boot otherwise (and I know from my previous pair).i like the look of these boots they are very fashionable and they worked well for keeping snow out of my feet on my trip to alaska, but i found my feet were very cold even with thick wool socks on and boots so i just wish they had more insulation. If you are someone who always needs a wide shoe these are not for you. I wear a 6.5-7 (I don't wear wides), mostly 7's, and had to exchange for an 8. I own 50 pairs of shoes and these are my only 8's. I originally ordered a 7 wore them 1 time and had huge blisters. Otherwise, they are very high quality, and adorable, I received several compliments from complete strangers. These are not advertised as 'hiking' boots, however I used them to hike through 5 national parks through rainy Washington/Oregon/California in November. My feet stayed dry and comfortable. Great buy.I really liked these boots. Wore them for a equine rotation in vet school and they stood up very well to all the walking / moisture. My feet always hurt at the end of the day regardless of the shoe, and these made my feet hurt about 15% more than if I were to wear running shoes. But these were water resistant enough to make me switch and bear it. If you don’t walk 15,000 steps a day (or more) then these will be plenty comfy enough for sure. Not too heavy, which I loved. I have a pretty wide foot too, and these had plenty of room (but I don’t wear thick socks). Maybe if you had really wide feet and wanted to wear thick socks this might not be for you. But if you have normal feet, you could definitely wear thick socks. These boots are fairly insulated, and my feet never got cold. Just a great all around boot. Would buy again!I bought these boots for a trip to England in November. Knowing the weather would be rainy and I'd be on my feet all day long, I wanted something that would keep my feet dry and comfortable but also be stylish to wear in the city. These were perfect! The first day in London, I walked more than 10 miles and didn't have a single blister. It rained almost every day and I walked through countless puddles. Not once did I experience wet feet. I even wore these on a short hike in the Peak District in the pouring rain. It was muddy, very wet, and there was a steep incline at the end. These boots held up great! The tread kept me from slipping and my feet again stayed dry.I live in Northern Minnesota and these have become my go-to boots to wear in the winter. With thick socks, my feet have stayed warm until about -10. I wouldn't recommend these to replace your hiking boots, but for around town and every day in the fall, winter, and spring they are perfect!I typically wear between a 9 1/2 and 10 and the 9 1/2 fits perfectly. Even with thicker, winter socks, they still fit comfortably. Most boots I find that are relatively waterproof and have good traction for ice and snow tend to be big and clunky. These have a nice slim design and work great in the snow and ice. They are practical and fashionable. The leather is a rough leather, not a smooth leather appearance. I have owned them for a little over a month and just oiled them for the first time.I love these boots! They are not too bulky but not too dressy, they are just right! The boots are not shiny, they have a classic rugged look and are the perfect balance of masculine and feminine style combined. They are great for walking in the snow or going out and about. They are comfy to wear but I wouldn’t say it’s like walking on clouds. Overall they are a great versatile boot to wear through the fall and winter.Used these during winter hike in Colorado. I sized up because I wanted to wear extra layer of socks. The shoes arrived looking just as pictured, they appear to be good quality and say they’re waterproof. Haven’t worn them outside yet so can’t attest to that. They do feel very stiff so I’m hoping that improves once they’re broken in. I wear a size 7.5 but ordered an 8 to have room for thick socks. Trying these on in bare feet without socks and they feel small. Wish I had ordered a full size up. They’re also difficult to get on. Hoping this also improves with wear.
